Compassion Australia – Cultural Values Internal Launch
In 2020, Compassion Australia went through a CEO change, a restructure and the COVID-19 lockdowns. In order to keep the future of Compassion’s mission at the front of mind, the CEO, People and Culture and Creative teams got together to create a new series of cultural values.
With a hybrid working environment of the office and home, I saw an opportunity to create a staff gift that would serve as a visual prompt at home, as well as create items for display in the office buildings across the country. I lead design and oversaw the project with the Art Director, Narrative Specialist, People and Culture Partner and a contract Illustrator and Animator.
The creative concept from the Art Director was about stones and how they are used on hiking trails and pathways as a navigation tool and to help you remember the journey. It was my responsibility to bring this concept to life and knowing that the staff were experiencing change fatigue, the launch needed to be a sensitive, hope-filled invitation.
We delivered a series of print, digital and display items that all feature Augmented Reality through the Artivive App. Items include; A6 Postcard set, Concertina print piece, A2 Posters, Illustration cut out displays, Desktop wallpapers, Powerpoint Template, Website landing page icons, Tote bag, a series of short films and an animation to tell the story of the cultural values.
The staff responded very positively and were delighted by the augmented reality animation and take gifts to decorate their home offices.
